It's no secret that the Rumble In Ramona event is one of the most favourite skate jams and all-out parties of the year!
And this year's rumble was no exception!
With Darren Navarette having recently joined the Iron Fist Skate family and being the brains behind the Rumble In Ramona it only made sense to have Iron Fist
at the event to supply the beer, tees and good times!
Don't let anyone tell you summer has gone...HELL NO! It was hot, damn hot!
The Iron Fist booth was set up right next to the Van's hot dog and hamburger stand with Steve Van Doren and his Vans crew flipping the burgers and making sure everyone was fed all day long! The Hells Angels were representing as well as Creature and a few more.
Massive vert ramp, old school bikes and hot rods out back. Skaters from Christian Hosoi to Salba, Lance Mountain to Tony Magnusson and pretty much every vert
rider that should be there was there!
The bands were set up right next to the ramp supplying the soundtrack to some heavy skating and as the day got older and hotter, the Iron Fist tent got fuller and fuller. Skateboarder and mustache mogul Patrick Melcher, who too, has recently joined the Iron Fist skate team, was hanging out at the booth all day admiring the bikes and making sure the Iron Fist cooler was never too full.
As the day got closer to an end the bands played louder, the skaters were riding harder and higher and the beer was flowing faster than the Iron Fist team could keep up.
Among those who skated were Dave Allen, Peter Hewitt, Darren Navarette, Al Partanen, Sam Hitz, Alphonso Rawls, Lincoln Ueda, Max Schaff, Childress, Salba, Rune Glifberg, Lance Mountain, Jeff Grosso, T-mag, Hosoi, Andy Scott and many more.
Iron Fist had an awesome day and a great time hanging out with old and new friends. A huge thanks to Navs and Creature Skateboards and everyone who made this awesome day possible!
